PyCon UK is the annual gathering of the UK Python community and its friends from around the world. This year, we return to Cardiff City Hall, from Thursday 26th to Monday 30th October.
Tickets for the main conference have now sold out, and we're expecting over 700 people at the conference! (But there are still a handful of tickets left for the children's day.)
There will be a heavyweight boxing match in Cardiff over the weekend of the conference, and so hotel accommodation in the city has been snapped up much more quickly this year than usual. If you're coming to PyCon UK, book your accommodation now. Don’t delay any further. If you leave it too late, you may find that there is no more affordable accommodation available. Please see the accommodation page for more details.
The first four days of the conference will include talks and workshops, while the fifth will be a day of sprints.
We're delighted that the Education Track returns, in partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, and we look forward to welcoming teachers and children to the conference.
We're also working with PyData London to put on a track of talks and workshops aimed at data scientists.
It's very important to us that all members of the community feel welcome and comfortable at the conference. Read about our approach to diversity, accessibilty, and inclusion.
We've got many more announcements to make over the coming weeks, so you should sign up to our mailing list.
If you've got any questions, get in touch.
We look forward to seeing you in October!
